Eco, Design & Build Highlights
The Eco, Design & Build section at 100% Design 2013 offered a comprehensive range of materials, architectural lighting and solutions for architects and developers. Exhibitors included Samsung Chemicals Europe, HI-MACS® by LG Hausys, Material Lab, Barrisol®, Gira and Mapei.
The Eco, Design & Build feature by Material Lab in collaboration with Here You Are studio reflected the strong presence of materials at the show. Entitled Materials Atelier, it was an invitation for visitors to get hands on with a selection of the latest materials available on the market.
Samsung Chemicals Europe unveiled their vision of the Retail of Tomorrow at 100% Design. The project, in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects and Heidi.com Swiss Fresh Fashion, uses the very latest design and technology to create an enhanced shopping experience.
3M Architectural Lighting's stand was a particular highlight, featuring a preview of US designer Todd Bracher's design led lighting.
Another lighting brand, Neonny, showcased its unique workplace lighting solutions.
The Eco, Design & Build hall had a rich choice of surfacing solutions such as the unique "Crystal Concrete" by BHC Home Experience.
LG HAUSY's playfully showcased the possibilities of the unique solid surface material HI-MACS®
